The glorious two Ginkgo trees in my NJ yard dropped their leaves recently, all within 1 day and right after the first hard freeze. They are the most wonderful yellow leaves. The only downside of my two trees, which were planted sometime in the 70’s, that they are both females and therefore drop smelly, smelly fruits. And this year, we had a wet Spring, so the trees produced a bumper crop….thousands and thousands of them. They’ve been falling for a record two months.
But the leaves are wonderful.
