I’ve started to find more and more of these scenes where there is a rectangular aspect and a diagonal aspect to scene. Yes, most of them are man-made, but I still like them. The dichotomy of the two angles creates tension, in my opinion. It’s somewhat ordinary, but I’ll be hunting for mor of these in the future.
This image was taken of the back of a building in Morris Plains, NJ, which is a sleepy suburban NJ town about 30 miles west of New York City. Of course, I used my favorite Olympus E-M1 mk 2 with the ultra-versatile 12-40/2.8. That sits on my camera probably 90% of the time.
