Taken from the Audubon society footbridge across the river. This was taken during the prime season for the spring Sandhill Crane migration. Thousands of cranes were flying around us, flying in flocks of 20-100 in the shallow parts of the river, congregating where they spend the night safe from predators. It was a magical place, highly recommended.
